    Off-white wool blanket sheet with wide, deep blue stripes around the edge. Centre seam of 31". The two halves of the cloth have been reversed so that the blue borders face inward along the centre seam. Also visible are the stitching holes of a floral pattern; this blanket, once it was worn from use, was obviously repurposed as the inner layer of a quilt. The two pieces were reversed because the centre of the blanket was worn.

  2. 1997.38.1 - Quilt, Signature Quilt, Autograph

    White and yellow cotton Signature Quilt quilted in a floral pattern dated circa 1960. The quilt has a white cotton background with a narrow yellow stitched border. It has twelve yellow appliqued flowers, twenty petals per flower, each containing an embroidered name. In total there are 240 names. The embroidery is in many colors.
