    Wedding suit. .01 Jacket. Black wool. Double breasted but missing two buttons. Cotton lining with machine quilting in blue thread. Two buttons at back. All buttons are covered. .02 Vest. made in matching material. Double breasted. Three pockets. Lined with cotton. .03 Pants. Plaid wool. Only waistband area is lined. Two pockets at front. Button fly. 4 buttons sewn to waistband. The back of pockets have two buttons, pocket and buckle.

    Child's tin bathtub with handle at both ends. Enamelled white inside. painted gray on the outside with gold rim and handles. Paint on rim and handles is very worn. The tub is dated circa 1900-1920.

    Child's pink poly-rayon dress, 1981. Short sleeves and wide collarless neck trimmed in white. Below the waist are two wide flounces.

    Woman's dress with a burgundy velvet sleeveless bodice and cream-coloured quilted skirt. Cream-coloured collar with covered buttons of the same material in a curved line down the front of the bodice. Long zipper down the back. Includes a burgundy velvet belt (.02) lined with cream-coloured satin.

    A woman's pair of dark brown polyester/rayon dress pants with wide bell bottoms. The front zipper has a metal clasp at waist. The pants do not have pockets.

  13. 2002.27.1 - Quilt

    Pieced and appliqued quilt in "Flower Basket" pattern, before 1889. The repeating basket motif is in blue; the background is white as well as the backing. The baskets are pieced but the curved handles are appliqued. A flower quilted at the top rim of each basket. Embroidered in a tan colour in the centre of the quilt is "SWEET REST / M.E.A." with a simple floral centre.

  14. 2007.33.1 - Vest, Wedding Waistcoat

    A man's formal vest made of yellow and white floral silk damask, circa 1855. The double-breasted vest has two rows of dark brown buttons. It has a collar and two straight pockets at the waist. It is lined with white cotton. The back of the vest is also white cotton.

  15. 2007.34.1 - Quilt

    A pieced quilt constructed out of squares with the predominant colours of mauve, pink, blue, brown and white, circa 1910. There is a centre area of pink, blue and blue teal squares surrounded by pieced bands of purple and brown print or white interspersed with blue and purple squares. The quilt is banded with a purple floral print. The backing is made from pieces from bleached sugar bags with the stamped advertising still visible.

  16. 2022.19.11.02 - Basket, Flower Basket, Bridal Basket, Flower Girl

    Green wicker basket (.02) with a circular handle extending outward dated to 1938. Inside the flower basket held a metal vase (.01) welded together from a single piece of metal.
