White ceramic souvenir teapot (.01) with lid (.02). Oval shaped body and lid. Gold trim around the mouth of the spout, the handle edge, the opening and the lid base and top point. On one side of the teapot is a handpainted decal of "The First House in Guelph, Ont.". The picture is taken from a photograph and transferred onto the ceramic, then painted brown with green trees.

A squarish-shaped woven and wooden picnic basket with a hinged lid and two moveable wooden handles, one at each end. The basket is made of thin woven birch strips and the lid and bottom of basket are reinforced with thin wooden slats, possibly elm. In the interior, especially on the inside of the lid, the green stain on every other birch strip is visible, creating a checkered pattern. It is dated circa 1940s.
