Hanging tie rack or towel rack, dated circa 1920s. The rack has a pressed-brass front, nailed onto a board. The brass has been formed into a floral design, surrounded by a stippled texture. It has a brass rod which serves to hang neckties or a towel. The whole rack is suspended from a metal chain, which is attached to the board by an eye ring screwed into the board on either end.
