A souvenir glass dish in the shape of a miniature skillet or frying pan. Made of translucent white milk glass with hand-painted purple and green flowers on inside of pan. Black printing reads "Souvenir of Orton". Mould made.

1990.34.1 - Quilt, Signature Quilt, Autograph

A red and white cotton autograph quilt, "Ladies Aid of St. John's United Church, Orton" dated to 1928-1929. The red appliqued floral shapes have hand stitched embroidered names in white thread. 2011.39.2 - Jacket

A brown faux-fur waist length jacket dated to the 1950s. It has no fasteners at the front opening. The jacket has beige satin lining. It has full-length sleeves. Label on the inside. Stand-up collar, three-button front opening, 3/4 length sleeves, full calf-length skirt. Dress is unlined. On the label is "Borg Fabrics Ltd., Elmira, Ontario."

2017.58.1.02 - Shoe, Child Shoe, Infant Shoe, Baby

Pair of black leather baby shoes (.01 and .02) dated circa 1934-1938. The shoes have leather soles, a black leather strap that fastens around the ankle with a black button, and an art deco design on the outside of the toe of a silver triangle and three circular holes punched out of the upper and brown topstitch detail. The lining is ecru cotton with a black stamp on the insole which reads "Children's Shoe / Comfort / Co Reg'd."
