    "Feather Star" pattern quilt with white backing, 1893. Three rows of four squares. In each block there is a yellow square. Eight green point surround the yellow centre. Small red and yellow triangles border the green points. The blocks are separated with wide white strips. There is a white border on opposing sides. Finely hand-quilted with predominantly diagonal lines.

    A child's oval leather sporran (.03) with a black leather cantle adorned with a silver metal relief image of a hand gripping a knife (or a sgian-dubh). From the cantle hangs a thick layer of white horse hair and two thick tassels of black horsehair topped with silver cones. Within each triangle there is a petal in corner, a row of diagonal lace, a row of six petals, and a row of diagonal lace. The border on the bedspread consists of a wide crocheted square pattern with scalloped edge at opposite ends and a narrow crocheted border at the remaining sides.
