Description |
A shelf clock with two glass doors with turn knob openings. It has a tin face a with white painted background, black roman numerals and a flower design. The top door glass panel is a picture of a sailboat with a man fishing on the shore, a castle-fortress is in the background. It is coloured in blues, greens and greys. The bottom door glass panel is a picture of flowers with a scroll design around it. See marks for inscriptions. It was mass produced. |

Mr. William Speers, grandfather Samuel Speers who lived in Salem bought one of three clocks from a man from Hamilton before the 1900's. William Speers father Samuel Speers Jr. received the clock when the grandfather went west. |
