Description |
Silk crepe de chine evening dress (.01) of red, pink, yellow roses on a blue background, dated circa 1925-1930. It has a dropped waist and circular skirt. Full length. Four panels gathered into waist. Two panels to bodice. Weighted draped V neckline. Sleeveless, sleeve holes covered with a wide full cap. Three tiers of black net at the hemline. Woman's light blue silk poplin long slip (.02). Full length. Two panels joined at side seams with triangular gussets added to bottom of each panel. Bodice is cut straight across back. Higher at front with slightly curved neckline. Narrow shoulder straps in similar material. Slip does not match with dress. The slip is dated as 1930 ca. |
