Description |
1984 International Plowing Match commemorative plate. Dinner sized, porcelain plate with gold trim and printed image on the front. The colour image is a farm scene with a wooden fence and hand plough in the foreground, cattle and trees in the middle ground and a barn and silos in the background. "International Plowing Match" appears in a banner along the top of the image and "Wellington County 1984" along the bottom. The artwork is signed by the artist "Kreller" in the bottom left corner. The back of the plate reads "Sidehill Plow by Norma Kreller", "In appreciation for the time and effort given towards the success of the International Plowing Match, 1984. 173 of 250". And in gold "Decorated in Canada" inside of a banner against a maple leaf and "22 K Gold". |
