A wooden carved wall decoration made in the shape of a maple leaf. It is dated circa 1950. On the top is a loop. The decoration is painted and stained brown. In raised painted gold letters is "Elora Gorge Park Canada". |

The souvenir wall decoration belonged to the donor's father (born in 1918) who owned and operated the "Elora Frozen Foods and Locker Service" from the mid-1940s to 1959 (after the war he started the business). It was located where the "Elora Gorge Cinema" is presently situated [as of July 19, 2013]. He purchased the objects in the 1950s from the concession or souvenir booth at the Elora Gorge Park. |
