The original provenance was that this was a piece brought from Germany in the 1830s but the piece has been identified from its markings as Staffordshire, England pottery 1872-1896. Originally there was also a teapot to match but was broken by donor during a move. Brownhills Pottery Co., Tunstall, Staffordshire, England. 1872-1896. |
