   Light brown rope bed. The posts are made of maple and the head and footboards are made of pine. Made by a lathe, possibly handmade. Provincially simple design, not a formal design. Low turned posts with cannon ball finials. Simple head and footboards. Round side and end rails which hold the bed together by wooden screw joints. No blanket rail. No original rope.

    Wool wedding dress, 1898. The bodice of the wedding dress has seven panels joined at the side seams. The yoke, epaulettes and stand-up collar are of embossed silk in a floral pattern.
