A man's black waistcoat. The front is wool gabardine and the back is silk. There are curved lapels and a five button front closure. Four pockets on the front. Lined with white and grey striped cotton. |

Property of the donor's mother, Mrs. Edith Jane Wallace (McDermaid) who lived in Teviotdale and married in 1924. Edith moved to Fergus in 1944 and lived there until her death in 1976. This waistcoat is believed to have been preserved by Edith but belonged originally to her grandfather Blair. |
