Description |
A tiny brass locket in the shape of a book with winged bookcovers and "pages", circa 1860. Inserted into the page spaces are tiny pictures of Albert and Victoria, Prince Edward and Alexandra, Edward VII as a young boy and an unidentified man in military dress. A thin chain is attached to the top of the locket. |

The locket probably belonged to a member of Nellie (Claxton) Charlesworth's family. The Claxtons lived in Stratford. The pictures of the Royal Family are dated circa 1860. Nellie was born circa 1880. |
