A red membership ribbon made from synthetic fibre. Printed in gold capital letters is "Canadian Soviet Congress". Below the lettering is a gold bar and filigree pattern. The ribbon is cut straight across on the top and cut in a v-shape on the bottom. |

Provenance |
The ribbon came from the Nelson family, possibly Edna and Johnathan Nelson. They lived in Toronto and later moved to Eramosa Township. They were volunteers of the Ontario Civil Defence Committee in 1943 and 1944. |
