Red polyester sash (.01) made with purple lining. It is sewn together where the front and back cross at the waist. On each end are red, green and white tassels. Embroidered on front are two yellow, crossed keys. Worn with the sash is a pin (1995.6.2.02). |

Each officer wore a sash like this in meetings of the Belwood women's court of the Canadian Foresters, called Court Ladybelle. Their group began in 1963 and was disbanded, due to decreasing membership, in December 1994. Their goals were to raise money for Cancer Research and to give aid during sickness or tragedy. |
