Plan of the village of Alma, on borders of Peel, Nichol and Pilkington Twps.; prepared for Messrs McCrea and Graham. Off white paper, black outline, beige and green lots. Upper left corner has a 13x18 advertisement by W.P. Newman & Co. Agents, announcing the sale of property on Wed. Jan 23. [1856] in J. Alexander's British Hotel, Elora, R.J. Elmslie, Auctioneer. The Scotch, Episcopalian and Methodist churches are represented by tiny sketches on their lots. the school, post office, tavern etc, are placed. MAP 60 |
