Elora Women's Institute, Tweedsmuir Histories and scrapbooks, 1952-2000. Elora W.I. was founded 7 March 1931, as a branch of Centre Wellington District. A Committee for the Tweedsmuir History was appointed in April 1952, and the scrapbooks were maintained until 2000. Some of the original photographs and documents date from the 1800s. The Tweedsmuir Histories, Books 1, 2, and 3, have been microfilmed and are available on A1982.13; Note: the books were microfilmed in 1971, but Volume 3 contains additional material to 1978.
