Large broadside, 92 x 31.5 cm, advertising a concert to be held in Alma, Ontario, on 18 January 1888. [Note: although the year is not given, Rev. C.S. Radcliffe was minister there between 1888-1889, and in 1888 January 18 fell on a Wednesday]. Printed with block letters, black ink on white paper. Text reads, "MISSION OF / Arthur and Alma / A GRAND / CONCERT / Will [D.V.] be Given in the / SCHOOL - HOUSE / AT / ALMA / ON / WEDNESDAY / January 18th / By the / Choir of Grace Church Arthur / Under the auspices of the Congre- / gation of Holy Trinity, Alma / PROGRAMME! / To consist of the Solos, Duets, Quar- / tettes, Choruses, &c. / LADY LANDSDOWNES LIGHT BRIGADE / Will appear in costume and execute their celebrated Fan Drill. A charac- / ter song, 'Cock Robin', will be sung by a band of children. / Concert will commence at 7;30 p.m. Admittance 25 cents / Proceeds for Church Building Fund.
