Description |
The Webster Album consists of photos of the Webster, Grange, Wilson, and other families. It also records the visit of HRH The Prince of Wales to Colombo, Ceylon in 1875 (the time of George Webster's residence there). Others show the buildings of Michigan Agricultural College in 1886, at the time of the appointment of Dr. E.A.A. Grange as State Veterinarian. There are also photographs of residences at Auchintoul, Scotland; Balruddery and Dunedin, New Zealand; Bedford Hill, England. A poster for a home theatrical is dated 1862; George Wilson Webster's sketch is dated 1870; photos of a "tableau vivant" in Milton are dated 1877; the latest clipping is dated 1917.
