Hillsburgh Auxiliary Women's Institute Tweedsmuir History Book. The Hillsburgh Junior Women's Institute was founded 18 January 1922, and in 1948, changed its name to Hillsburgh Auxiliary Women's Institute. The Tweedsmuir History contains photos and clippings from the 1970-1990s, but some date back to the early 1900s. The Institute also created four additional scrapbooks (detailed separately), covering the period to 2001. The contents of the Tweedsmuir History has been listed page-by-page below; in most cases the page headings of the original have been used, with additional explanation [in square brackets, thus], where useful. The numbers at the left refer to the re-pagination in pencil at lower left and right. 1 ?
