   Copper circular military pin (.01) with blue, white and red enamelled shield in the centre reflecting the Union Jack flag; raised letters around the edge read: "For Service At The Front"; above the shield: "CEF" [Canadian Expeditionary Force]. Brass circular washer (.02) screws on to threaded post on the back.

   A gold-painted star-shaped pin with a raised circular centre, 1915-1918 . It has an enameled green laurel wreath with a red centre. Printed on the red centre is "Tria Juncta in Uno" ("Three joined in one"). It has a clasp on the back of the pin.
