    An oval serving tray or platter made of "E.P.N.S" (electroplated nickel silver). Ribbed pattern stamped around shallow bowl and around outer edge of rim. Two handles are cut-out from the flat rim. Four ball-shaped feet on bottom. The centre of the tray is engraved: "Presented to / Dr. C. K. Clark / by / His Assistants in the Ontario Hospitals / for The Insane / May 1911".

    A surgical kit and 8 original instruments dated circa 1874. The kit consists of a case (.01) and eight medical instruments (.02-.09). The black, fuchsia and gold coloured case is made of leather, velvet and metal. It has fuchsia coloured satin and velvet lining and gold coloured dotted line trim painted onto the case.     A silver key-wind metal watch (.01) with a glass face cover dated circa 1842. Two keys are tied onto the watch with a brown ribbon. The watch has one gold hand, the other is missing. Includes a black leather storage case (1954.17.21.02); stored separately.

  7. 1954.17.3.018 - Case, Medicine

    A black leather medicine case (.01) which stores seventeen vials (.02-.018), circa 1874. The case (.01) has a silver metal clasp on the front, which is broken. It has a gold line decoration on the front and back and inside is a lined fuchsia pocket. In the case, the vials are held in place by leather loops. There are substances in the vials (.02-.018). Each vial has a cork on the top and a handwritten label on the front.
