    Two white crocheted lace edging fragments (.01 & .02) dated after 1900. They are made in a circle with sixteen triangle crochet pieces extending out from a floral and square patterned ring. The pieces are too large for a collar, but could be used as trimming on a yoke or pillowcase, etc.

  13. 1985.48.58.02 - Bodice

    A black silk georgette crepe bodice <.01 & .02>. The bodice is translucent black and has a round neck and side front closing with six dome fasteners. The sleeves are elbow-length kimono sleeves. There is elastic sewn to the bottom hem, and the hem, cuffs, neckline and front closing are all lined with small black beads. It was machine- stitched and hand-beaded. .01 & .02 BODICE

    Large straining spoon designed specifically for lifting eggs out of boiling water. Bowl of spoon is oval in shape and made of wire loops that gradually increase in size. Long, hollow metal handle with ring at the end for hanging up.

    Metal funnel with spceckled navy blue and white "graniteware" enamel finish. Wide conical mouth with a narrow, tapered stem. Wire ring for hanging up rivetted to rim. Dated circa 1900.

    A tin nutmeg grater with a circular hole at the top. It is dated circa 1900. It originally had a japanned finish and a hook at the top for hanging (both missing).

    A pair of tin measuring pitchers with soldered joins and lip. Dated circa 1900. .01 measures one pint and is missing its handle; .02 measures one quart and is embossed on the side "Thomas Davidson Mfg. Co. Ltd. Montreal".

  20. 1985.48.67.02 - Pot, Cooking Saucepan

    A navy blue and white enamel or "graniteware" saucepan (.01) with a removable lid (.02), circa 1900; side handle and movable bail wire handle. Bulbous pot. Wide lip on lid; top of lid is convex with central handle.
