    White cotton knitted bedspread with crocheted border, circa 1854. Nine strips across; each strip is composed of five rows of small leaves arranged alternately and edged with horizontal ribbing. The strips are sewn together by hand. Crocheted filet lace border. Pointed scalloped edges.

    A hair wreath in a wooden oval frame, circa 1900. The hair is in various shades of brown and are presented in floral patterns that are arranged in an updside-down horseshoe-shape with a large cluster in the centre. Heavy oval frame has a flat profile with rounded edges; medium brown shellac finish.

    A pair of infants' white leather boots (.01 & .02), circa 1921. The button fastened front is waved with three white buttons. Stitching is on the toe-cap and down the front facing of each boot. The boots have flat brown leather soles. The boots have cotton lining.

  7. 1999.16.1 - Quilt, Signature Quilt, Autograph

    White cotton Signature Quilt with circles of red cotton appliqued to the quilt dated to 1927. Around each of the circles are embroidered in red the names of people. In the centre of each red circle is a name embroidered in red. In the centre of the quilt is embroidered "Sunbeam Class / Shand's S. S." The quilt has a red border.
