2008.10.1 - Embosser Seal Stamp

A hand-operated metal seal for the "Guelph Sailing and Canoe Club Inc." It is dated before 1989. The seal has a circular metal plate with an embossed seal mounted underneath the handle. The blue metal base has a paper sticker on the side with the manufacturer's information. On the base are four plastic feet to support the seal. Empty clear glass bottle with a slight purple tint that originally contained "Save-the-Horse" Spavin Cure, circa 1912-1933. The bottle has a rounded rectangular cross-section, straight sides, curved shoulders and a lip on the opening. It has embossed text on one side "Save-the-Horse / Trade Mark / Spavin Cure / Troy Chemical Co. Binghamton, N.Y."
