    White cotton man's shirt. Machine sewn. Long sleeves and stand up collar. Honeycomb figured fabric for front yoke and cuffs. Back closure. Stud closure at back of neck, but open all down back. Front yoke has opening for 2 studs down it and at neck. Cuffs require cufflinks. Flat felled seams throughout.

    A ceramic serving dish (.02) with a removeable lid (.01) in the shape of a hen roosting on her nest. The dish is colourfully hand painted on the outside.

  3. 1997.5.1 - Mask, Shaman Mask, Ritual

    Iroquois mask made from corn husk; the face is braided. At the sides of the chin are two rawhide thongs. When these are untied the face of the mask swings up. A tag attached says "Irocrafts, Six Nations Grand River County North America". Inside is written "Gajesa, Corn Husk Face Mask, old style with husk hood. Made by Giyada Yasas "Wasted Doll", Mohawk Woman. Turtle Clan, age 76+ years".

  4. 2000.26.1 - Quilt, Commemorative Souvenir

    Small rectangular commemorative quilt. The quilt top is made of prize ribbons, all silks, pieced together. Various colour of gold, red, white, green and blue ribbons with black printed words "First Prize", "Second Prize", "Third Prize", "Highly Recommended" for the "Industrial Fair, Toronto", the "Pan-American Exposition, Buffalo", the "Provincial Fat Stock and Dairy Show" in Guelph, Brantford and London. The backing is a pink cotton print.

  5. 2009.33.1.02 - Corset

    A woman's white cotton corset, circa 1895-1910, with lace trim and consisting of two compontents: left side (.01) and right side (.02). The corset is a small design that forms a peak in the centre, at neck and at belly, front and back. Vertical metal stays, metal clasps at front and cotton ties at the back.

  6. 2016.58.1 - Quilt, Autograph Quilt, Signature

    Signature quilt dated circa 1945. The quilt is white cotton, with thirty-two large red embroidered floral motifs (six across, six down) with signatures inked inside each petal. In the centre of the quilt are two columns of names of individuals who served, with embroidered motifs surrounding the names. Above the names is a maple leaf motif, with three red maple leaves with "CANADA" on a scroll below the leaves. Below the names is motif with a laur...
