A printing plate (.02) with an image of the following (left-right): John Galt, postmaster of Goderich, A.T. Galt and his father, Thomas P. Galt of Toronto, and Hugh Kortwright, grandson of T.P. Galt, tree planting on 23 April 1927. The plate was stored in an envelope (.01) with the printed images on the front (moved to Archives and renumbered ph 24691_36).

2017.75.1.02 - Case, Eyeglass Eyeglasses Spectacles

Eyeglasses (.01) and case (.02) dated to between 1936 and 1949. The eyeglasses (.01) are frameless with octagonal lenses, a metal bridge, plastic nosepieces, and wire arms attached at the midpoint of the sides of the lenses. The right lens has been broken and repaired. The case (.02) is metal covered with fabric that has been coated with a black paper-like finish.
