A table-top phonograph (.01) with a square wooden cabinet and a circular metal turntable on top, circa 1900 -1910. Green felt is glued to the turntable. (.02) - Hinged lid. (.03) - A horn cut from sheet metal and seamed together. Flared end is brass, remainder is painted black. Reproducer is pressure fit onto the tip of the horn. (.04) - A metal crank / handle (it is labeled 1953.4.c).

Hand forged, double-bitted axe head. Narrow oval eye, with pointed ends, for wooden handle (missing). Curved blade at each side to produce a larger cutting edge. It is dated circa 1860.

A hand-forged, wrought iron pot hook; the stem of the hook is square, but the part forming the hook has been flattened and widened. There is a loop at the top to which is attached four round flat links of chain.

A crimping iron that consists of a heavy curved cast iron handle (.01) with ridges along the bottom, and a sheet metal crimper (.02). It is also curved and has ridges corresponding to those of the handle. The sole plate has attached wire clamps.

A handmade wooden model of a horse poke, painted black, dated circa 1875. It consists of a bar of wood to which a loop of wood is attached. This is mounted on a spring mechanism so that it can move back and forth. The poke ends in two bars mounted on springs.

A pair of eyeglasses (.01) and an eyeglass case (.02). The eyeglasses have silver metal rims and oval lenses. The arms of the eyeglasses are straight; they don't curve around the ear. The long narrow case is covered in black leather and printed with the manufacturer's information. Folded eyeglasses are inserted in the top opening.

"Alpha" crystal set, circa 1910. It would be attached to a radio by wires in order to select the desired frequency band while rejecting the undesired frequencies. It is in a varnished wooden box with a hinged lid. A metal handle on the top. An ornate clasp on the front and the remains of two other less ornate hooks. The lid opens to reveal the workings.
