A collar (.01) and a pair of cuffs (.02 and.03) dated circa 1840-1850. The white starched, handfluted (ruffled) collar is made of cotton. The cuffs are stitched on the dress (1975.71.1). |

These cuffs were made by Helen (Irving) Grieve, circa 1840-1850. She was born in Scotland in 1818. She married Robert Grieve in Canada and died in Stratford in 1913. |
