Renovation Wellington County Administration Centre, 1980-1981; Elora Centennial Celebrations, 1967 [film/videocassette], 1999 1/2" VHS videocassette, 84 minutes, copy of four silent, colour 8mm films A1988.92 (one film) and A1987.52 (three films). The four films have been copied with the order and timings (approximate) listed below: (NOTE: Film location: stacks / text below is printed out and stored in MU 430) - A1988.92 consist of scenes photographed by Doug MacLennan during 1980-1981, mainly of the renovations to the Wellington County Court House to become the Wellington County Administration Centre. The film also includes footage of the opening of the Elora Gorge Bridge, 25 September 1980; the Plowing Match, 30 September 1980; and a pie-baking contest. - A1987.52 consists of scenes photographed by Will Millar of celebrations in and near Elora, during Centennial year, 1967. A trip to Muskoka and Expo '67 in Montreal are also documented. Most sequences are identified with opening signs or captions.
