1977.3.1 - Cover, Corset Camisole
White cotton corset cover with filet crocheted yoke applied by hand to the bodice. Two buttons on the front (lower button missing). The neckline is square with a crocheted draw string, and crocheted balls on the end of the string. Waistline seam, and bias peplum are gathered to the bodice. The hem is turned to the outside and machine stiched.

Ecru lace waist with silk lining and net. Five button back closing, four of those buttons are concealed. Neckline closure with two black hooks and eyes. The front is heavily embroidered with a wide insertion of lace extending from shoulder to waist. A second row of lace meets in a wide V at the centre of front. The sleeves are full length. Plain net back with two sets of vertical tucking.

White net and lace shirtwaist with silk lining. Eight hooks and eyes for back closing. The front is heavily embroidered with flower motifs placed horizontally. A centre front motif in floral embroidery. Four vertical tucks with lace edging. Full length sleeves. Nine rows of horizontal tucks on each sleeve. Stand up collar edged in lace.

Ecru coloured cotton, hand-crocheted purse. Body of bag is square in shape with a narrow flap at the top. Ball tassel fringe along flap and along bottom edge. Narrow ivory or bone dowel at top from which extends many cords which are attached along the top edge of the bag. When drawn, access is gained to the interior of the bag. Lined with multi-coloured plaid cotton.
