The company made starter motors for Chrysler, mid-1950s; it was short-lived. - file 2: Envelopes, sales slips, 1904-1989. - Item 1: Currie, Sheppard & Co., Belwood, dealers in dry goods ... sold to Mrs. J. Wright, 21 April, 1904. - Item 2: Walter Dixon, Arthur and Fergus, planing mill ... sold to Shepherd, 11 May 1942. [This was lumber bought to rebuild the verandah at 138 Melville Street, Elora, the Shepherd family home (featured in "Trapped in Paradise"); the home was sold in 2006. - Item 3: Envelope addressed to J.C. Scott, Elora, postmarked first day cover for the "Official Opening of Shand Dam, Wellington County, Elora, Ontario, 7 Aug. 1942." [Jim C. Scott was the accountant at Mundell's. The document outlines plans for a "destination resort" which would "provide training, teaching and experience in life enrichment by means of diet, exercise and improved attitudes." The owner and developer was Larry Parker, Elora. The document was produced by William A. Johnston Design & Drafting Service, Alma; it contains plans and elevations for the "Bon Accord Development / Proposed Health, Fitness Centre & Hotel." Subseries 2: Blank business forms, in pads, ca.1920-ca.1960. - file 1: A. S. K. Chemical Company, Elora. Invoice / Shipping slip. [See Museum 2007.17.1 - A blue vertical metal polish tin, circa 1920-1930. The "S" in "A-S-K" stood for "Stafford" which was a prominent Elora family name.] - file 2: Fleury-Bissell Ltd., Elora, 1945. Multi-part form for "Purchase Order Revision." - file 3: Lloyd's Hardware, Elora, ca.1950. Two-part, numbered sales slip with carbon interleafed. [Lloyd Israel's store was on Geddes Street in the premises now (2015) being renovated for a micro-brewery] - file 4: Fuller's Garage, Elora, ca.1960. Numbered, one-part work-order. Arnold Fuller, who owned the garage, sold off all his business stuff at a garage sale. SERIES 2: PHOTOGRAPHS AND VIDEOCASSETTE., ca.1945-1994. - ph 44240: B&w print. Dorothy Sturrock (nee Badley), sitting on a Kiddy Kar tricycle, ca.1945. It was built in Elora (the ruins of the factory are down at the Gorge near the Tooth of Time). - ph 44241: B&w print. Fred Shepherd, seated on Kiddy Kar tricycle, ca.1945. The following colour prints are of the "Not So Grand Players," taken at Wellington Terrace and various Legions, Elora and area, during the 1970s; also of a summer party of the group.
