Belwood Women's Institute, records, 1927-2014. Belwood Junior W.I. was founded 6 June 1903, as a branch of Centre Wellington District. The Branch folded, and was re-opened in January 1927. From 2004-2005 the Branch was associated with Wellington-Halton District. The Belwood Branch W.I. disbanded 2014. Minutes have been recorded in notebooks issued for that purpose by the Ontario Women's Institutes. The books also contain Records of Meetings (with topic and/or speaker); cash Receipts and Expenditures; annual Financial Statements (a copy of which was forwarded to District Secretary); lists of Officers and Directors, and Membership, most with Belwood or Belwood Rural Route addresses.
