The first meeting of District was held in 1904; their final meeting was held 3 March 2004 in Speedside United Church hall. The 100th District Annual Meeting was held 19 May 2004, followed by an Anniversary Tea, 22 June 2004. Centre Wellington District became part of Wellington-Halton District Women's Institute.
